Since 2012, hairstylist Mark Bustos has been giving back the best way he knows how—with free haircuts for those less fortunate than him.

His good deed began about 2 years ago while we was visiting family in the Philippines.

Bustos rented a chair from a barber shop and gave out free haircuts to the community's children.

Since then, he has given haircuts in Jamaica, Costa Rica, Lost Angeles, and New York (where he is currently based).

Now, every Sunday, when the 30-year-old isn't working at a high-end salon in NYC, he is cutting the hair of the city's homeless.

Bustos makes sure to give of them the attention they deserve by offering them a meal and cutting their hair in public areas.

Less about watching him in action, his choice to cut hair in public is about inspiring others to do a good deed and spread the kindness.

Bustos says, "Every human life is worth the same. We all deserve a second chance."
