Having a bonsai tree in your home can really brighten up a room... and that statement is especially true if you own an Electree Mini: a delightful solar-powered charger shaped like a bonsai. This clever creation by French designer Vivien Muller combines practicality and aesthetics in a tiny, environmentally friendly package. I definitely need one of these for my home!
The "branches" on the tree are flexible and can be positioned to harvest the sun's rays, using them to energize AA and AAA batteries to power gadgets.
The Electree Mini also has a place for a USB port--- perfect for charging your phone.
At night, the tree is illuminated by LED lights. The color can be changed by rotating the tree, giving the room whatever ambiance you prefer.
The lantern is actually a smaller version of Vivien's original design, the Electree. The Mini is more portable and would look right at home on even the smallest of side tables.
